Aunt Judy

Bless Great Aunt Judy's heart, she read and read and read some more to the kids - especially Celia.  I thought these photos were so sweet.  Thank you for coming to visit us.  xoxo

First Communion

Noah had his First Communion and we are so proud of him.  He read the second reading and was incredibly poised, smiled, spoke clearly and loudly.  Honestly couldn't have done a better job.  As his mother, I sat in awe at this big kid of ours.  How did that happen so fast?!  Great Aunts Judy and Mary Frances came to help celebrate. We enjoyed having them here.   Each child made a banner and decorated it to tell about them.  Noah included a soccer ball, football, basketball, baseball and a cross with a heart.  Whew, glad we got the cross in there. ;)

Celia says

Whenever talking about a hair do Celia says, "hair dude."

Example:
"Mom, I like your hair dude."

Easter

Dying the eggs.

Annual egg hunt.  Shawn hides the eggs after church then the hunt begins.  We were happy not to be searching in snow this year.

Spring Break

We went to Austin for Spring break and had such a good time.  It was a trip where everything just seemed to click.  The kids traveled well, ate well, slept well.  Shawn and I could enjoy the trip too. Ha!  The weather was perfection and so was the company.  We were able to spend quality time with the Roberts and the Crusers, families we adore and get to see far too little of.  My dear friend, Brennan Cruser's dad offered for us to stay at his home and it provided the ideal setting and location to relax and enjoy.  We all devoured tasty TexMex that Shawn and I had been sorely missing.  Micah and Celia learned about avoiding fire ants; unfortunately, Noah learned that lesson the hard way on a previous visit.  Some days were filled with fun outings and other lounging by Deanna and Paul's neighborhood pool.  Our kids gave it their highest rating - two thumbs up and two big toes.

Be still my heart...these darlings!
Digging for dinosaur bones.
The best bluebonnets photo we could muster.

Zilker Park

Secret beach with the Crusers.
We saw the bats.

Deanna, Molly, John and Sam went with us to Sea World.  A highlight of the trip for sure.  At the end of the day we sat in the "splash zone" for the kids and what are the odds...not a drop of water.
The kids collected rocks along the trip.  Micah was adamant about taking this one home but we convinced him to leave it for Mr. Collins as a thank you for his hospitality.
The Wagoner kiddos give the trip two thumbs up and two big toes.

Mayoral run

Fernfield Mayor Speech

I will always try my hardest but I will need evrybudy to cotribute to keep this community strong.  We need to do more services like packing food and building houses for the homeless.  Also we should have more jobs and houses so that more peple can join our community.  We should have more programs for kids like soccer, hockey, football, basketball and baseball.  We should have a new high school sports feild and it should be open for kids to practice in on weekends  Our citzens should always make good choices and do the right thing.  We should have good leaders and school with good teachers to teach kids things to help them succed.  Everybody is here for a reason.  Any one with me?
Ohhhh...and he WON!

Four!

Counting down to birthday...
Birthday.  She started the day with Shawn's chocolate chip pancakes and opening a present.
Then she headed to preschool and got her beloved birthday crown.
While brainstorming party ideas Celia and I were looking at Pinterest.  She locked eyes on this cake and was obsessed with having it.  I talked to the pasty chef at Whole Foods and then emailed him the inspiration cake which was a wedding cake.  He knocked it out of the park and we added the Sofia the First tiara per Celia's request.
Princess party with friends.
Grandpa Dennis, Grandma Jane and Hallie came to visit and keep the celebrations going.  Grandma and the girls made the brownies.
