Mother's Day

We had a really nice Mother's Day here. Noah was up sick during the night so we stayed home and it was low key. I slept in, Shawn made a frittata out of some of our CSA veggies. Noah chose and colored a picture for me of a kangaroo with her baby joey. I got a gift certificate to a great yoga studio and did a little shopping for myself.

Yesterday I spent the morning with a group of fabulous women. Some good friends others I have just met. The get together was a celebration of motherhood and focused on building a community of women that support each other. It was SO special. I left feeling like my cup was overflowing. I spent the rest of day and today reflecting on my life and motherhood and just how fortunate and blessed I am.

I get to be married to this handsome guy who is also an insanely good husband and father...

and spend my days with these two little loves.

Doesn't get better than that. Sometimes I think my heart will burst out of my chest it is filled with so much love for these guys. Happy Mother's Day indeed!
