We have been bustling with Halloween celebrations for the last week. A festival at our local nature center, our annual kiddie costume party, and two parties with friends on Halloween itself. Whew. We had so much fun but I'm ready to pack up the decorations and be done with the over abundance of sweets and candy.
Micah was a feign for any and all sweets. No candy for him this year but he made up for it in the form of cookies and other treats.
Second year running as fire chief for Noah. Very easy on the parents.
Our spider sans hat.Trick or treating with several friends. Our "big kids" have known each other since they were under a year old and it is SO cute to see them grow up together, friendships bloom and enjoy holidays like Halloween.
Spider wasn't cooperating for photo ops. He is in the far left corner running away from the cheerleader. :)
Cutest little fire chief and spider in town! Great pics...the one with all of the kids and pumpkins is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, you did spy a Biscuit Halloween book on my blog. It is our first, but so cute, I will have to get more :)
I love that you are all bundled up with your scarves. Collin was sweating inside of his costume because it was not intended for 80 degree weather.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your stories about your kids especially Micah and yet feel sorry for you too. The paper incident was bad enough but a bottle of shattered olive oil, Oh Boy! He is a go-getter that is for sure. So sweet of Noah to help out when and where he can. Love all the pics and stories, thanks for sharing and you are such a good mommy keeping your boys entertained and experiencing such fun things. Love and hugs to each of you!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you live in a fantastic neighborhood for trick or treating (and being a kid in general!) So nice that they have a little group of friends already. Their costumes are adorable.
