This guy wanted to go to sleep in my bed last night. He's been scared of monsters lately and apparently there are no monsters in mom and dad's room.

Stairstep
Shawn's family has a history of taking stairstep photos of the cousins in order of age and height. I love them. One morning as the kids were running around my bedroom I casually asked them to line up and whipped out my phone camera. Here's our stairstep. :)

Notes
Noah writes a lot of notes. Here's one he gave Micah this week. I especially like the San Francisco addition. ;)

Love notes
After the school parties were over, opening all those Valentines at home began. They loved every moment.
Luckily I saved a box of conversation hearts from Noah's party for little sister.Valentine's Day prep
Valentine's Day week was BUSY around here, but much of the busy was FUN.
Micah's superheroes ready to be assembled.
Preschool bake sale. Lollipop cookies.
Noah's cards.
He attached a handmade heart in colors he thought each classmate would like.

Ice Skating
Sometimes...more than sometimes, I can't get enough of my kids. Last Saturday was one of those times. It was my first time to watch skating lessons. Noah had started the weekend we were in New Orleans, Micah was sick. I simply could not get over how cute they were learning to make their way on the ice.
Learning to stand up.
Marching across the ice.
A smile for every fall. This is one fun kid.

Home
We arrived home to welcome signs, hugs and kisses. Yay! After our goodbyes to Grandpa, Grandma and Aunt Judy we doled out the souvenirs to the kids.
We even brought the half time show lights home.
Made where?!
Noah: "Mom, I saw that the football guys from Santa say made in China. So the elves didn't make them."
Me: "Maybe the elves had to order those."
I'm hoping less is more is the appropriate approach in this situation.
Super Bowl
Shawn won an award at work. The prize was a trip to the Super Bowl. Although going to the Super Bowl wasn't at the top of our getaways list, we were excited and had a really fun time. The New Orleans location was a nice bonus. Four nights of solid sleep was extra nice too.
Babysitters.
In addition to the game were tickets to the NFL Experience which was an event largely focused on kids. Our guys would have loved it. We scored some good freebies.
Game day.
We were jazzed to get a few autographs for the boys.
Shrimps next to this guy.
View from our seats.
Beyonce rocked!
35!
Our best shot from my birthday celebration. The boys made sweet, handmade cards and gifts. Life is good.
