Today I attempted to take some photos of Celia in hopes that one would work for a birth announcement. I didn't make any progress on that front but I do love these two shots.

Celia approves of her baby carrier. I decided to get the Ergo and so far, so good. She took a nice little nap snuggled up to mom.

First Dress

Or is it a tunic? Either way the clothes for girls are a whole lot more fun than the boy options.

Celia went in for the two week check on Monday and continues to thrive. 9lb 4oz (75%), 21 3/4 in. (90%) and 14" head cir. (50%).

Spring?!

While some our friends and family are enjoying 90 degree weather where they live we are...enjoying (ha!) parks still filled with snow and building snowmen. Thankfully it is warming up slightly and our snowmen start to slump fairly quickly.

Melt

Noah is absolutely melting my heart these days. He just LOVES his little sister to pieces. That boy is a sweetie.

Cars

Yesterday I was driving home and heard that the cars from the Disney movie were going to be at the Mall of America to promote the new movie coming out this summer. Since Shawn is super dad he took the boys this morning. Shortly after they left I received a message stating that this was ONE of the lines.

They were able to see Mater and Lightening from the second floor though and were just as excited. Then they went down and stood outside the ropes to get a closer look.

See the "x" on the floor. The kids waited in line to be able to stand on that x for a photo. Umm, not so sure that is worth it.

Growing Girl

Today a nurse came to visit us at home. It is a standard practice through the hospital where she was born. She checked out Celia and confirmed that she is perfect. Celia weighed in a 8lb 8oz. One pound two ounces is a pretty impressive weight gain in 9 days! She may be trying to best her big brother Micah for chubbiest baby ever.
