Santa Comes Early

Micah got really into Santa this year  including creating his own Santa game. He put on a hooded jacket, then filled a grocery bag with toys and headed for the stockings.

Here you can see Micah struggling to get toys out of the bag and into the stockings.

 Much easier to just put Santa's bag on the stairs and reach in.

Vikings vs. Packers

On December 2nd we invited three of Noah's friends over for the Vikings/Packers game.  It was an early and low key friend birthday party for Noah.

Noah received new football stickers for his NFL book.  In no time he was adding the needed stickers to his book.  Then they swapped the duplicates.  The sticker book obsession is so cute.  They memorize who needs what and then discuss it on the bus to and from school.  Serious business filling those books.

Noah and his main man, Easton.  We met Easton, his twin Emery and his mom when Noah was nine months old in a music class and have been friends ever since.  Now we live in the same neighborhood and they are in the same Kindergarten class.  Pretty special.  Noah says, "He likes Easton best of all, after his family.  EVEN more than football."

Finally we completed a puzzle of all the NFL helmets and called it a day.  A good one.  Our boy was happy.

Deck the halls

After returning from Nebraska we pulled out our Christmas tree and decor and got to work.

Our Halloween costumes may be mixed in with the Christmas decor too. Ha!

 Celia was napping and woke to a Christmas tree.  Happy surprise.

 Then...while Micah hung his beloved bulldozer on the tree it slipped off a branch and shattered.  He was devastated.  I did my best to console him.  I noticed that Noah had taken off.  He came back several minutes later with this heart.  He made it on his Shrinky Dink paper so Micah would have another ornament.  Man, I love that kid.  It worked like a charm.

Thanksgiving

We decided last minute to go to Nebraska for Thanksgiving.  As always when traveling I took only a few photos but we sure did have a good time.  My kids love playing at Grandma & Grandpas and especially when they can do it with cousins.  Special times.

Beth and Jestin hosted Thanksgiving night.  Noah and Micah think cousin Brady is the coolest.  

Micah entertains.  Anything to get a laugh for this guy.  He spontaneously did this about 10 times.  I could eat him with a spoon.
