Herbs

Yesterday we met our friends, Jenny and Sylvia, at an organic garden shop, Mother Earth Gardens. Everything about this place is wonderful, from the name to the ladies who run it. We brought home herbs that Noah and I are going to plant later this week: oregano, dill, thyme, basil, cilantro and rosemary. In June we are going to buy some tomato plants and maybe one other thing. Starting small is the plan. I'm looking forward to learning about the process of growing food together and enjoying our bounty.

Selecting the perfect plants.

Micah simply enjoyed getting wet and dirty since it had just stopped raining.

  2. You're so lucky to have this store nearby! I'm going next week to buy my herbs and can't wait to have my own supply at home. Good idea to start small. Your boys are adorable in the plants/mud.
